- Absolutely! Kids are welcome when riding with a parent or guardian, and we even keep booster seats in every vehicle for your use. Up to two pets can ride along too. Kids and pets both ride at a discounted fare.
- Will I share my ride with other people?
- Sometimes — fewer than 1 in 5 rides are shared, and it's a fun way to meet your neighbors. Our routing has strict limits on how much a pooled stop can add to your wait or ride time, so we never take you far out of your way.
- How is JUMP different from traditional rideshare?
- JUMP is locally owned and operated right here in Charlotte. Our drivers are JUMP employees — trained local Driver Envoys, not gig contractors. Every vehicle is 100% electric with zero tailpipe emissions, and our low, flat fares never surge with demand.
- Can I ride with a group?
- Yes! Request a ride for up to 10 people, and we'll automatically split your group across multiple vehicles in the most efficient way.
- Do I need to download an app?
- Nope. You can request a ride from any phone browser at app.jumptransit.com, or use the JUMP app if you prefer.
- Do you offer memberships?
